About Us

This is our story

UW Chinese Covenant Church (UWCCC) was planted and started by Pastor Ian in 2021. UWCCC, as a branch of SCCC, has a shared ministry relationship with SCCC during the church plant period.

There are 4 thousand international students from mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong studying in UW every year. Besides undergraduate and graduate students of UW, there are also many students in various community colleges and most of them have never heard of the name of Jesus Christ.

UWCCC is established to share Gospels with Chinese students in Seattle area and to provide a warm spiritual home for students. UWCCC will also counsel and assist students in their study, life and career needs. UWCCC is aimed to be a 2nd generation Chinese American church based on campus and serve the community.

Lead Pastor
Even thought I received infant Baptism, grew up in a Christian family and made Confirmation of faith in my youth, I am not truly born again until my graduate study in US campus. Thereafter, I devoted my life on campus ministry, because I dare not forget how my life has been transformed and would not miss a chance to share Gospel with every students I meet.
